New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that when we are truly seen and heard, we can grow and heal. Guided by my Christian faith, I bring a calm, attentive, and compassionate presence to each session, creating a space where curiosity, honesty, and self-reflection are welcomed. My goal is to help you feel supported and understood while exploring your experiences, gaining clarity, and building practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
During our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers. This is a space to share your thoughts, discuss your goals and begin building trust so that the process feels safe and supportive from the start.
Clients often say I am calming, compassionate, and attentive, helping them feel truly seen and understood. I use an integrated, flexible approach with evidence-based strategies and practical tools to support emotional regulation, build confidence and navigate life’s challenges more effectively. Many clients notice stronger resilience, a greater sense of agency, improved problem-solving and decision-making and a more compassionate view of themselves.
I work with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or struggles with self-esteem. I connect best with clients who are curious, reflective, and willing to explore their emotions and experiences. The clients I’m best positioned to serve are those who are open to learning new ways to cope, building self-awareness, and practicing strategies that help them feel more confident and resilient in daily life.
I use ACT to help clients notice and accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment, focus on what matters most to them, and take meaningful steps toward a fulfilling life. This approach builds resilience, self-compassion, and a sense of agency.
I use CBT to help clients recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. This approach focuses on creating positive change by challenging unhelpful thinking, developing practical coping skills, and tracking progress toward personal goals.
I use DBT to help clients build skills in managing emotions, improving relationships, and handling stressful situations. This approach focuses on practical strategies, mindfulness, and consistent practice to create lasting change and support personal growth.
I use Somatic Therapy to help clients connect with and understand the messages their body holds about stress, trauma, and emotions. This approach supports releasing tension, regulating the nervous system, and making steady progress toward greater emotional balance and well-being.
