Hi, I’m Anna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York. You may be handling a lot and still feel anxious or drained, and you don’t have to carry that alone. I believe healing begins when we feel genuinely seen. In our work together, I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of your emotional and nervous system responses, and build practical coping skills that fit your life. My style is collaborative, focused on emotional regulation, self-awareness, and strengthening self-confidence over time. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and respect each person’s values and beliefs.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to change or improve. You don’t need to have everything figured out. This is a space to share at your own pace, ask questions, and begin building trust. We’ll talk about current challenges, what has or hasn’t worked in the past, and what support may feel most helpful right now. We’ll also begin identifying goals and approaches that feel realistic and meaningful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and attentive. I create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment, while helping clients develop practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and navigate stress more effectively. I value feedback and adjust the therapeutic approach to ensure sessions feel supportive, relevant, and responsive. My goal is to help clients build resilience, confidence, and self-trust.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults and young adults who want to better understand their emotions and develop practical strategies for managing anxiety, stress, and self-esteem challenges. Many notice patterns of overthinking, burnout, people-pleasing, relationship stress, or navigating life transitions related to career, identity, or personal growth. If you’re looking to feel more grounded, manage emotions more effectively, break unhelpful patterns, or build confidence, therapy can be a helpful step forward. You’re welcome to bring your whole self, and I look forward to meeting you.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients notice and accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment, focus on what matters most to them, and take meaningful steps toward a fulfilling life. This approach builds resilience, self-compassion, and a sense of agency.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. This approach focuses on creating positive change by challenging unhelpful thinking, developing practical coping skills, and tracking progress toward personal goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients build skills in managing emotions, improving relationships, and handling stressful situations. This approach focuses on practical strategies, mindfulness, and consistent practice to create lasting change and support personal growth.

Somatic

I use Somatic Therapy to help clients connect with and understand the messages their body holds about stress, trauma, and emotions. This approach supports releasing tension, regulating the nervous system, and making steady progress toward greater emotional balance and well-being. Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I’d be honored to support you on your journey. I look forward to meeting you!
