I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 13 years of experience specializing in OCD and anxiety. I provide telehealth therapy to clients across California and offer services in both English and Spanish. My approach is warm, collaborative, and structured. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and supported, while also helping you make real, meaningful progress. I use evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you reduce anxiety, manage intrusive thoughts, and break out of patterns that feel overwhelming. I understand how exhausting it can be to feel stuck in cycles of overthinking or anxiety, and my goal is to help you feel more in control of your thoughts, your choices, and your daily life. Therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about learning practical tools and building the confidence to handle what comes up outside of sessions. In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what you’ve been experiencing and what’s been most difficult for you. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable—we’ll go at your pace. I’ll ask structured questions to get a clear picture of your symptoms, including anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD patterns, or panic, and how these are showing up in your daily life. This helps us identify patterns and begin understanding what may be maintaining them. We’ll also talk about your goals—what you would like to see change and what feeling better would look like for you. From there, I’ll explain how therapy can help, including how approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are used to reduce anxiety and create lasting change. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or have everything figured out. It’s completely okay if you’re unsure how to explain what you’re going through—that’s part of what we’ll work on together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction. We’ll begin building a plan that feels manageable and tailored to you, so you can start making progress both in and outside of our sessions. I work best with adults who are experiencing OCD, anxiety, panic, or intrusive thoughts that feel difficult to control. Many of my clients find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance that interfere with their daily lives, relationships, and sense of confidence. My ideal clients are often thoughtful, self-aware, and motivated for change, even if they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. They may have tried to manage things on their own but are now looking for a more structured and effective approach. They are not just looking for a space to talk—they want practical tools, clarity, and a clear path forward. They are open to learning new ways of responding to anxiety and willing to gradually face the patterns that have been keeping them stuck. Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience helping clients reduce intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and avoidance behaviors by gradually facing feared situations while resisting rituals. I tailor ERP to each client’s pace so the process feels manageable and effective, with a strong focus on building tolerance for uncertainty and long-term symptom reduction. Clients learn practical tools to challenge thoughts, reduce avoidance, and respond differently to anxiety in their daily lives. Clients learn how to observe their internal experiences with more distance and less reactivity, which supports the work we do in ERP and CBT.
