Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and have been a licensed practitioner for 8 years. Through my training, intuition, and empathic understanding, I help clients from all different backgrounds and ages to feel heard and supported. We will work together to gain awareness of and process your experiences and emotions while creating a greater overall sense of wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a strengths-based provider who emphasizes clients' self-care while they face and process challenges and discover tools to alleviate stress and find growth.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

When working with clients I emphasize empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. I aim to empower clients to explore their feelings and experiences in a supportive environment conducive to personal growth and self-actualization.

Somatic

Through the somatic treatment lens, I help my clients understand how our bodies often hold onto stress, trauma, or emotions, which can manifest as physical sensations (like tension, pain, or discomfort). By paying attention to these body sensations we can explore the body-mind connection, which helps my clients gain insight into their emotions and inner experiences. I also utilize somatic techniques to help with stress release, emotional regulation, and building resiliency.

Psychodynamic

Through a psychodynamic lens I work together with my clients to uncover unconscious patterns and motives that influence current thoughts and behaviors. Together we integrate exploration of past experiences with current concerns and challenges, aiming to create meaningful change in the client’s life.
