We’ll also go over some important info about how therapy works like what to expect, scheduling, and a few practice details to make sure you feel comfortable and informed. This session is about getting to know each other, holding space for whatever you bring, and seeing if this feels like the right fit for us. I combine therapeutic approaches that support your whole experience - mind, body, and spirit. This includes cognitive and mindfulness practices to help shift unhelpful thoughts and cultivate present-moment awareness, psychodynamic reflection to explore how your past influences current patterns, and compassion-focused techniques to meet all parts of yourself with kindness. I also work with different aspects of the self, including the inner child, and use polyvagal-informed strategies and breathwork to support nervous system regulation. When it fits your interests, we can incorporate energy work like Reiki, guided visualizations, or intuitive practices to deepen your connection with your inner wisdom. Each session is tailored to where you are and what feels most supportive for you.
