Betsy Katz
Hi! I'm a compassionate and empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor and registered dance/movement therapy based in Massachusetts and Connecticut. I received my Masters from Lesley University in Massachusetts and have been practicing for 7 years. I help young adults and adults struggling with relationships, communication challenges, and career stress become the best versions of themselves.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
With a background in dance/movement, Betsy is also a registered dance/movement therapist. Betsy believes that our minds and bodies are connected and feels passionate about incorporating somatic principles into her work. Betsy specializes in working with many life challenges and has experience with clients navigating life transitions, early childhood trauma, and creating healthy boundaries.
Ideal clients
I love working with adults with relationship challenges and young adults who are in the first few years of their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their relationships and careers.
