Hi I'm a licensed therapist based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and I have been practicing for 11 years. I help high functioning Christian adults navigate family struggles, anxiety, depression, and grief finding peace, clarity, and healing without guilt. Are you ready to start your journey? Lets get connected and see if i can be of help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel heard and valued. This will be an intake session, where we take time to explore what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and your goals for healing and growth. I will ask questions to understand your background, strengths, and any patterns that may be impacting your well-being. This session is not about rushing into solutions but about getting a full picture of your needs so we can create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals. You are in control of your healing journey, and my role is to guide and support you at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of our session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what therapy with me looks like and the next steps forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I bring a unique balance of professional expertise and personal experience, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level. One of my key strengths is my ability to meet clients where they are, whether they are hesitant about therapy, struggling with deep emotional wounds, or seeking faith-based guidance. I tailor my approach to each individual, using evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, ensuring clients receive practical tools for real change. I also bring genuine transparency and authenticity to the therapeutic relationship. I don’t just offer textbook solutions, I empower clients to trust their own ability to grow, heal, and make decisions that align with their values. My ability to blend clinical insight, faith-based wisdom, and real-life understanding makes me uniquely positioned to guide clients through challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Above all, I am patient, compassionate, and committed to seeing my clients succeed. My work is not just about therapy sessions, it is about helping people build a life where they feel emotionally free, confident, and at peace.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

You are someone who has carried the weight of responsibility for far too long—balancing work, relationships, and unspoken wounds from the past. You’re a high achiever, a nurturer, and someone others rely on, but deep down, you are tired of holding everything together alone. Anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma may be affecting your ability to fully show up for yourself, and you are ready for change. I understand because I have walked through my own healing journey. As a licensed mental health therapist, I provide a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to you. I use evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help you move from feeling stuck to experiencing real transformation. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced early childhood parentification, toxic relationships, workplace burnout, or life transitions that left them emotionally drained. I help you unpack the burdens you’ve carried, redefine your boundaries, and develop tools to live with more peace and confidence. You don’t have to do this alone. I am here to guide you toward healing, growth, and a renewed sense of self. Let’s take the next step together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you recognize and change negative thought patterns that affect your emotions and actions. By shifting your mindset and responses, you can manage stress, anxiety, and depression more effectively, leading to a healthier, more balanced life.

Christian Counseling

Christian counseling integrates biblical principles with mental health therapy to help you navigate life’s challenges through faith and practical strategies. It provides spiritual and emotional support, guiding you to healing and growth while aligning with God’s word.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you accept difficult emotions instead of avoiding them while committing to actions that align with your values. It teaches mindfulness, self-acceptance, and flexibility in thinking so you can move forward with purpose despite life’s challenges.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy focuses on creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and valued. It emphasizes self-discovery, personal growth, and trusting your own ability to make positive changes, with the therapist offering guidance rather than direction.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Therapy helps you identify strengths and practical steps to overcome challenges by focusing on solutions rather than problems. It is a goal-oriented approach that encourages small, meaningful changes to create positive progress in your life.
