I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor who believes that healing begins with being truly heard and understood. My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I view therapy as a safe space for self-exploration and growth where clients can begin to let go of what no longer serves them and step into a more balanced, empowered version of themselves. I bring an eclectic and trauma-informed style to my work, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. This allows me to adapt to the needs of each client, creating a personalized plan that supports their goals. Whether we are addressing trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or psychosis, my focus is helping clients build insight, emotional regulation, and resilience. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations in a range of settings and I understand that seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to make it a positive, empowering experience from the very first session. I meet people where they are, offering empathy, honest feedback, and practical tools for real-world change. I believe that progress happens through genuine connection and consistent effort, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients as they build the confidence and skills needed to move forward. Ultimately, therapy with me is about helping you rediscover your strengths, gain new perspectives, and create the kind of life you want to live. Healing isn’t about perfection it’s about progress, self-awareness, and learning to extend grace to yourself in the process. If you are ready to begin this journey, I am here to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe space where transformation can take root. Together, we will focus on creating sustainable change and a renewed sense of hope for the future.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is about creating a space where you can feel safe, seen, and heard without judgment or pressure. I know that reaching out for therapy can be a big step, so I aim to make our first meeting as welcoming and comfortable as possible. We’ll start by talking about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll take time to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and begin understanding your unique experiences and challenges. This is your time to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Some clients come in ready to dive deep, while others prefer to move at a slower pace and both are completely okay. During this session, I’ll also review a few practical things such as confidentiality, informed consent, and the overall structure of therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals, whether that means managing stress, healing from trauma, improving relationships, or learning better ways to cope with emotions. My goal is to ensure that you feel respected, supported, and clear about what the therapy process will look like moving forward. Because my approach is eclectic and person-centered, I tailor each session to fit your specific needs. I often integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and trauma-informed care. Early on, this may include learning grounding techniques, developing coping skills, or exploring patterns in your thoughts and emotions that may be contributing to distress. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and I bring my clinical experience and insight to help guide and support you. Together, we’ll develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. I also encourage feedback at any time if something isn’t working for you, we’ll adjust it. Therapy should always feel like a collaborative and evolving process. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling hopeful and grounded, with a clear sense that you have taken an important step toward change. You’ll have a better understanding of how therapy can support you, what our focus areas will be, and what steps you can start taking between sessions to support your progress. Clients often share that they appreciate my calm and genuine approach, as well as the sense of comfort they feel even in the first meeting. While we can’t solve everyth

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to connect with clients in a way that feels genuine, supportive, and empowering. I provide a calm, nonjudgmental space where individuals can feel safe enough to explore even the most difficult emotions and experiences. My clients often share that they feel understood and accepted, which allows them to open up and begin the process of healing without fear of being criticized or dismissed. I take an eclectic and trauma-informed approach to therapy, meaning that I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods to best meet each client’s individual needs. My work often integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered techniques. This flexibility allows me to tailor sessions to where clients are in their journey whether they need structure and skill-building or space for emotional processing and reflection. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I bring a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the mind, body, and emotions. I help clients recognize the ways in which past experiences may still be influencing their current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Through grounding techniques, emotional regulation skills, and body-based awareness, I support clients in developing a greater sense of safety and control within themselves. My goal is to help clients not just manage symptoms of trauma, but to truly heal and rebuild trust in their own resilience. Another strength I bring to my work is my ability to balance compassion with accountability. I understand that growth doesn’t happen overnight, but I also know that consistent effort and honesty are essential to real progress. I work collaboratively with clients to set clear, achievable goals and celebrate the small victories along the way. I see therapy as a partnership one where I walk alongside you, offering both empathy and gentle guidance as you build confidence and develop tools for lasting change. As a Certified Grief Counselor and Certified Mindfulness Counselor, I specialize in helping clients navigate loss, emotional pain, and life transitions. Grief can take many forms whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a sense of identity, or a stage of life and I help clients move through that process with compassion and understanding. I also incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients stay grounded, improve self-

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to begin their healing journey, even if they’re not sure exactly where to start. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or emotionally exhausted. They may be coping with grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger dysregulation, or major life transitions. Others are seeking support in rebuilding relationships, finding emotional balance, or managing stress more effectively. I work best with clients who are open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and patterns people who are ready to do the inner work, even if it feels difficult at times. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy; you just need to be willing to show up and take the first step toward change. My role is to walk beside you, offering guidance, perspective, and encouragement along the way. My approach is collaborative and grounded in respect for your unique life experiences. I believe that each person already possesses the inner strength and wisdom needed to heal. Therapy provides the tools, structure, and safe space to access that strength. I work with children, adolescences, and adults from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds, and I deeply value the diversity of experiences that clients bring into the therapeutic space. I often work with clients who have experienced trauma whether from early life experiences, complicated grief, difficult relationships, or major life disruptions. Many of my clients have learned to survive by suppressing emotions or putting others’ needs first, and they come to therapy ready to start focusing on their own well-being. Together, we identify the patterns that are keeping them stuck and develop healthier coping strategies to promote healing and growth. Because my practice is eclectic, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered techniques. This allows me to meet each client where they are while tailoring therapy to their specific needs and goals. For those struggling with intense emotions, I focus on emotional regulation and distress tolerance. For those dealing with loss, I incorporate mindfulness, grounding, and grief-specific interventions that allow space for both healing and remembrance. Clients who work with me can expect honesty, empathy, and a nonjudgmental environment. I believe in creating a therapeutic relationshi
