New to Grow
While providing a nonjudgmental environment, I offer warmth, compassion, and empathy while serving my clients, in an effort to assist them with identifying and achieving their desired outcomes. I focus on helping my clients gain insight and awareness into themselves, their problems/barriers and relationships, so they can become active agents of change in their lives, and become a person with whom they are content.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is an assessment where I collect information about your background, upbringing, and what brings you to therapy. It is where I get to understand you and how to best support you throughout our work together. We will also create treatment goals together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I offer warmth, compassion, and empathy in a nonjudgmental environment. I focus on helping you gain insight and awareness into yourself, your problems, and relationships so you can become an active agent of change and a person with whom you are content. My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you identify core beliefs and generate alternative responses to negative automatic thoughts. This hands-on approach gives you tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. Together, we will work on helping you gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
