Lauren Morris
I’m a warm, empathetic, and empowering therapist committed to providing a supportive, non‐judgmental space where clients can be themselves. I specialize in supporting women who identify as neurodivergent and are seeking a space where they can feel genuinely understood. As an ADHD Clinical Service Provider and a mother of a neurodivergent child, I take a neuro-affirming and lived experience approach that integrates an understanding of the brain’s neurobiology and the essential role of the nervous system in emotional regulation, identity, and healing. I recognize that many neurodivergent women carry trauma histories—whether from childhood, chronic invalidation, masking, or relationships where their needs were dismissed or misunderstood.
First session
My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and honesty.
Strengths
Therapy with me is gentle, attuned, and grounded in understanding the whole person—mind, body, and nervous system. We move at your pace, honoring both your resilience and the parts of you that feel overwhelmed or unsure.
Ideal clients
An ideal client is someone who suspects they may be neurodivergent or has recently discovered they are neurodivergent and is seeking a supportive space to better understand themselves, feel validated, and create meaningful change. As an ADHD Clinical Service Provider and a mother of a neurodivergent child, I take a neuro-affirming and lived experience approach that integrates an understanding of the brain’s neurobiology and the essential role of the nervous system in emotional regulation, identity, and healing. Origin story
My desire to become a therapist began in childhood. During my parents' divorce, I experienced firsthand the value of having a therapist who created a space where I felt safe, heard, and validated. That experience inspired me to pursue a career in mental health and continues to shape the compassionate, client-centered care I provide today.
Ongoing work together
Together, we'll work to better understand your unique experiences, strengthen your connection with yourself, and develop strategies that support lasting growth and well-being. Sessions will be tailored to your needs, allowing space for both exploration and practical skill-building as you work toward your goals.
