Jessica Levan
I’ve been a nurse practitioner for over 11 years and bring a holistic approach to my patients. Originally from Chicago, I have lived in Florida for 15 years and can vouch that sunshine really can improve one’s mood! My background includes work in acute care, women’s health, and sexual assault services. I try to meet each patient where they are in their journey and understand it is not easy to search for a provider so want patients to feel as empowered as possible.
First session
We will get to know each other, create some goals, and come up with a treatment plan together.
Strengths
I hope patients view me as their ally. I do not care about labels, but just want to help each person feel their best to enjoy their life to the fullest.
Ideal clients
I love helping people. It is even better when patients are motivated to better understand themselves and are ready to actively participate in their mental health journey. Whether they are seeking care for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, or life transitions, I value working with individuals who are open to collaboration and committed to making meaningful, sustainable changes. I believe the best outcomes occur when medication management is paired with education, practical coping strategies, and a strong therapeutic relationship. My approach is warm, direct, and evidence-based. I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to take an active role in their treatment.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Medication is one tool, but medication alone doesn't teach your brain new habits. During our visits, we'll also spend time working on practical strategies to help you manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you have skills you can use between appointments.
