I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, culturally responsive care. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I offer therapy and medication management in a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and understood.

I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience, which allows me to connect deeply with individuals navigating complex emotional challenges.

My goal is to help you heal, build resilience, and move forward with clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

First session

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we will take the time to get to know each other. I will ask about what brings you in, your current concerns, and some background on your mental health, lifestyle, and goals. This session is all about building trust, understanding your story, and making sure you feel heard and supported. Together, we will begin creating a plan that feels right for you, whether that includes therapy, medication management, or both.

Strengths

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to create a safe, culturally sensitive space where clients feel genuinely seen and understood. I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience, which allows me to connect deeply with individuals navigating complex emotional challenges. I am compassionate, patient, and committed to empowering my clients with practical tools that promote healing and long-term growth. I meet people where they are, honoring their journey while helping them move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to serve you if you are navigating life transitions, cultural identity struggles, or dealing with chronic stress and anxiety. You are strong and resilient, but you may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood at times. You are looking for a provider who truly sees you, someone who offers a safe, affirming space and practical, culturally sensitive tools to help you heal and grow. I understand the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability, and I am here to walk alongside you as you reclaim your peace, clarity, and confidence.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we will work on identifying unhelpful thought patterns and replacing them with more balanced, empowering ones. CBT is a collaborative and practical approach that gives you real tools to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard and equipped to take meaningful steps toward feeling better and gaining more control over your life.
