My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

n my practice, I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. My experience with CBT involves guiding clients to recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and helping them develop more adaptive coping strategies. find CBT particularly effective for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and negative self-beliefs. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each individual’s needs, pace, and personal goals while empowering them to build long-term resilience and self-awareness.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Through ACT, I support clients in learning how to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than struggling to eliminate them, while also helping them stay committed to behaviors that align with their personal values. I guide clients in identifying what truly matters to them and developing practical steps toward living in alignment with those values, even in the presence of discomfort. I find ACT particularly helpful for clients dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, and patterns of avoidance.

Couples Counseling

I provide couples counseling to help partners improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and work through relationship challenges. I support couples in identifying patterns that may contribute to conflict, such as miscommunication, unmet needs, or negative interaction cycles. My goal is to help couples build stronger, more supportive relationships by improving trust, fostering emotional intimacy, and developing tools that allow them to navigate future challenges more effectively.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help individuals and couples better understand and express their emotions in a safe and supportive environment. I work collaboratively with clients to explore underlying emotions that influence their behaviors and interactions. Through this process, I help clients recognize negative interaction cycles and develop healthier ways of communicating their needs, feelings, and vulnerabilities. My goal is to help clients create more secure and supportive relationships by promoting open communication, trust, and emotional understanding.

Grief Therapy

I provide grief therapy to support clients who are coping with loss and the emotional challenges that follow. Grief can arise from many experiences, including the loss of a loved one, relationship changes, health issues, or other significant life transitions. My approach focuses on creating a compassionate and supportive environment where clients feel safe to express and process their emotions. My goal is to help clients honor their loss while supporting them in navigating the healing process at their own pace.
