Hi, I’m Eva, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in both English and Spanish. With over a decade of experience, I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues. My approach is compassionate yet direct—I’m here to help you cut through the overwhelm, get to the root of what’s holding you back, and give you practical tools to move forward. I believe that growth happens when you balance insight with action. Together, we’ll explore patterns that no longer serve you, build healthy coping skills, and work toward the life you want—whether that’s setting boundaries, managing anxiety, or rediscovering your confidence. I draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic principles. But more than anything, I trust my intuition to guide each session, meeting you where you are and creating a space that feels safe and empowering. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. You’ve already taken the first step—let’s keep moving forward, together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll start with brief introductions and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current struggles and goals so we can create a tailored plan to address your needs. The session will be a safe space to reflect on what’s working, what’s not, and how I can best support your growth moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to build a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I approach therapy with a mix of warmth, compassion, and practical guidance to help clients make meaningful progress. My intuition plays a significant role in my work—I often know exactly the right question to ask or insight to share that leads to breakthroughs. Clients appreciate my straightforward, no-nonsense approach that cuts through the overwhelm and helps them see the path forward clearly.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adults aged 24 and older who are committed to personal growth. My ideal clients are individuals who feel overwhelmed or stuck, often struggling to make themselves a priority in their own lives. They’re ready to do the inner work but may feel unsure about where to start or how to maintain progress. I especially connect with clients seeking tools to manage anxiety, improve self-esteem, and navigate relationship challenges. I also welcome Spanish-speaking clients who want to feel seen and understood in their native language, offering culturally sensitive therapy that resonates with their unique experiences.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

I use Positive Psychology to help clients shift their focus toward what's going well in their lives. By practicing gratitude and identifying personal strengths, clients can cultivate a more balanced perspective, which reduces the impact of negative thinking patterns. Together, we work on recognizing small wins and finding joy in everyday moments, empowering clients to create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients recognize the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We work together to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking. By aligning thoughts with actions, clients can develop coping strategies to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and improve overall well-being. My approach is practical and focused on helping clients achieve lasting change.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate ACT to help clients build psychological flexibility by accepting their thoughts and emotions rather than fighting them. Together, we work on identifying personal values and committing to actions that align with those values, even in the face of difficult emotions. This approach helps clients develop resilience and live a more meaningful life, grounded in what truly matters to them.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify their personal strengths and resources to create meaningful change. This approach is all about finding practical solutions to current challenges, rather than focusing solely on problems. We work together to set clear, achievable goals, and I guide clients in taking small, actionable steps to make progress toward their desired outcomes.
