Aeisha Fobb
My name is Aeisha Fobb, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Mindful Connect, LLC. I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care in an environment where they feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach is collaborative and individualized. I take time to understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals before developing a treatment plan that fits your needs. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood concerns, trauma-related symptoms, or other mental health challenges, I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where we can work together toward meaningful progress. I offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care grounded in evidence-based practices. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to help you gain greater clarity, stability, and confidence in your daily life. I value open communication and want you to feel informed and involved in every step of your treatment journey.
First session
During our first session, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and discuss what has brought you to treatment. I will take time to learn about your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, medical background, and treatment goals. This conversation helps me develop a clear understanding of your needs and create recommendations tailored specifically to you. You can expect a thoughtful, structured, and supportive process. I encourage questions and want you to feel comfortable sharing your experiences. By the end of the session, we will review potential treatment options together, which may include medication recommendations, therapy referrals, lifestyle strategies, or other next steps. My goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of your treatment plan and confidence about moving forward.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is balancing evidence-based clinical care with a compassionate and supportive approach. I believe effective treatment starts with careful listening, accurate assessment, and a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust and respect. I am committed to providing clear communication and practical guidance so you always understand the purpose of your treatment plan and feel empowered to make informed decisions. I also value consistency and follow-through, carefully monitoring progress and making adjustments when needed to support long-term success. My focus is helping you achieve meaningful improvements while feeling supported throughout the process.
Ideal clients
I am best positioned to serve individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related concerns who are seeking structured, medication-supported care with clear guidance and follow-up. My ideal clients are motivated to improve their mental health, open to treatment recommendations, and value consistent, professional support to stabilize symptoms and enhance daily functioning. I work well with patients focused on symptom control, emotional stability, and achieving practical goals such as improved sleep, concentration, and overall quality of life.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I use a patient-centered, evidence-based approach that integrates psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and brief supportive therapy tailored to each individual’s needs. In my practice, I focus on clear symptom assessment, appropriate pharmacologic treatment, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safety, effectiveness, and functional improvement. I also emphasize patient education and collaborative decision-making to promote adherence, stability, and long-term outcomes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in mental health, I incorporate CBT techniques into medication management and psychotherapy sessions. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, adjustment difficulties, and stress. Sessions may include identifying cognitive distortions, challenging negative beliefs, improving emotional regulation, developing problem-solving skills, and creating realistic goals that support long-term recovery.
