I work solely with women and offer a result-driven approach that quickly helps you take action and start to feel better. You will be introduced to a variety of systems to help you move from stressed, overwhelmed, and hopeless, to calmer, more organized, efficient and self-aware. I have experienced many of the challenges that I support other ladies with. experiencing divorce, high levels of stress and feeling overwhelmed were a part of my daily living. My experiences allow me to be relatable and down to earth with my clients, creating a safe environment for women to be vulnerable and most importantly be themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will consist of a brief introduction. We will complete a simple assessment and explore the reasons you are seeking counseling at this time. We will explore what your goals are and what you hope to gain from our time working together. The initial session is also a great time for you to ask me any questions about the counseling process,

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is helping clients feel more empowered and in control of their lives. I will teach you how to develop positive coping skills and learn better ways to handle emotional responses to different situations. Helping clients better manage day-to-day challenges that create feelings of stress, anxiety and overwhelm is a strong point. I also find strength in helping clients develop and enforce firm boundaries within a variety of life areas (i.e, with family, friends, work, children, romantic relationships).

Supportive therapy is a therapeutic approach that aims to provide emotional support, encouragement, and understanding to individuals facing various challenges, stressors, or life difficulties. While employing supportive therapy, I focus on fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, validating clients' experiences, and offering practical assistance. Supportive therapy is adaptable to various therapeutic modalities and can be integrated into different theoretical frameworks to meet the unique needs of each individual client. I incorporate Supportive Therapy as a foundational approach in providing a supportive and compassionate space for personal growth and healing in practice.
