Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me. I am excited about learning more about you. All my life people have told me I am easy to talk to. I really enjoy helping people process life's challenges and explore options that are available for growth. Through the years I have personally experienced a lot life's challenges, and have learned how to reach deep within myself to discover long-awaited answers. We can do this together with your life's challenges. I am easy to chat with, friendly, non-judgmental, helpful, truthful, experienced, spiritual, and very kind.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session you can expect to experience non-judgmental, kind, compassionate care. I will listen intently to where you are in life, and where you may want to go. We will put together a plan of care which will reassure you that there is hope. You will leave the session with a peace, you may not have experienced before.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In therapy I use an eclectic mix of tools and techniques from various counseling therapies. We take a look at each challenge you face from a rational, emotional, and spiritual perspective. We communicate understanding, and search for solutions and options in every situation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

People that would find therapy the most helpful are: have experienced religious trauma, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, changing careers, making adjustments through major life changes, wrestling with life's purpose, struggling with depression, needing to make changes to change future, and dealing with depression and anxiety.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT therapy helps clients to envision different perspectives of the same event/circumstance/challenge in life through a change in thinking toward it. It also helps to consider options in response.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT aims to increase psychological flexibility, which is the ability to be present in the moment, observe thoughts and feelings without getting caught up in them, and take action towards valued goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

It's a brief, future-oriented method that helps individuals identify and utilize their strengths and resources to achieve their desired outcomes.

Motivational Interviewing

MI is a therapeutic approach designed to help individuals resolve ambivalence and build motivation for positive behavior change. It's a collaborative and goal-oriented communication style that focuses on strengthening a person's own reasons for change.
