My greatest passion and inspiration is walking alongside individuals during their journey of self-discovery and improvement. This passion for helping others set me on my path of obtaining a Master's in Social Work, with a concentration in Health and Aging, and subsequently becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience working with individuals with substance abuse, chronic medical conditions, severe mental illness, life transitions, trauma, caregivers, those with brain impairments, and children and teens with that are diagnosed with developmental disorders.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a supportive, collaborative space where your strengths, resilience, and lived experience are centered. We’ll focus on what’s bringing you in right now, what has helped you cope in the past, and what you’d like life to look like moving forward. I’ll take time to understand you as a whole person—not just your symptoms—while we begin identifying practical goals and tools that feel realistic and empowering. You set the pace, and together we’ll start building a plan that honors your values, promotes emotional safety, and supports meaningful change.
The treatment methods and tools I utilize
I have post-graduate training and experience in Art Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Group Therapy, and Psychoanalysis. I also utilize Solution Focused, EMDR, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and IFS modalities in my work.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
The biggest strength I have as a therapist and what I bring to the table is I care. I also believe what makes me effective in my work is I am results-oriented - I strive for my clients to feel heard and supported but I also go above and beyond to look for as best an "answer" as possible on what we can do to get treatment goals accomplished.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am open to work with all populations. I specialize in health and aging but have experience and work with many diagnoses and life challenges.
