I am a LCSW. I graduated from FAU in 2018 with a master's degree in social work. I have worked in residential addiction and mental health facilities. I have worked with a variety of problems underlying both addiction and mental health. To name a few, I have worked with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family dynamics, marital issues, LQBTQ, and self-esteem. I give clients coping skills to help alleviate distress and the rest is up to you to do the work. I will work right along side of you by supporting your needs and helping you work through your presenting issues. I want to see you be your best version of you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and use it often in therapy. I feel that it is effective in assisting with a variety of issues from anxiety to difficulty sleeping. I start by providing education on the intervention and the application process. I use tools such as a thought record to begin tracking thoughts and applying CBT. I am confident that if used correctly that you will feel the growth and improvement relatively quickly.

Faith based therapy

I feel that I guide clients through life challenges by incorporating faith-based support and practical tools. I have assisted many patients by working with their identified faith by challenging their issues by looking through a faith-based lense. I have also worked with clients by assisting them in looking at their areas of concern through a more accurate view.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have experience using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) to help clients manage and overcome a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. DBT, an evidence-base approach is particularly effective for individuals dealing with chronic emotional distress, interpersonal effectiveness, and overall stress. My goal is to empower clients to lead more balanced, fulfilling lives by mastering skills needed to navigate their emotions and relationships effectively.

Gestalt

I bring experience in Ghestalt therapy, a holistic and experiential approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes self awareness and personal responsibility. In my practice, I help clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by exploring their experiences in the present moment.

Grief Therapy

My grief therapy practice is dedicated to supporting clients through their darkest times, helping them process their emotions, find healing, and eventually rediscover hope and meaning in their lives. I have substantial experience providing grief therapy to individuals navigating the profound and often complex journey of loss.
