(she/her)
I provide comprehensive and compassionate mental health care to children as young as six years old, teens, and adults. I hold a Masters of Science (MSN) degree from Walden University, and I am a board certified PMHNP. Over the years, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals navigate various mental health challenges and life transitions, always focusing on creating a trusting, supportive, and effective therapeutic relationship. My priority is ensuring you feel truly heard and safe. I use deep, active listening to understand the full context of your life and goals, not just your symptoms. This empathetic approach ensures our collaborative care plan is aligned with who you are. You can expect me to be an authentic, non-judgmental guide. Our first session is a comprehensive initial evaluation where we discuss your history, collaboratively set clear goals, and establish a plan, ensuring you leave with clarity and hope.
During your first medication management session, we'll take time to get to know your symptoms, medical history, past treatments, and what you're hoping to improve. I'll ask thoughtful questions to help understand the full picture of both your physical and mental health, and we'll discuss whether medication may be helpful as part of your treatment plan. You can expect a supportive, judgement free conversation where you will be encouraged to ask questions and share any concerns. Together we'll create a treatment plan that feels safe, informed, and aligned with your goals.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my focus on creating a warm, judgment free space where my patients feel genuinely heard and supported. I combine evidence based medication management with a holistic approach of each person's unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. Rather than taking a one size fits all approach, I work collaboratively with my patients to develop individualized treatment plans that honor their goals, values, and life experiences. I emphasize clear communication, patient education, and empowerment, ensuring you feel involved in every step of their care.
My ideal client is a child, adolescent or adult who is navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, or life transitions, and is motivated, at any stage, to better understand themselves and improve their quality of life. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their direction, but are open to support, skill-building, and, when appropriate, medication management. I work well with individuals balancing multiple responsibilities, including students, working professionals, and parents, who are seeking practical strategies to manage symptoms while maintaining their daily roles. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals with attention and executive functioning difficulties, as well as those working through relationship stress, identity development, or adjustment to new life circumstances/transitions. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and tailored to each individual. I integrate medication management with psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions, helping clients build insight, improve coping, and create sustainable change.
