Hi im Laura, a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting individuals through crisis, trauma, and major life stressors. I specialize in working with first responders and those impacted by high-stress environments, offering a calm, collaborative, and practical approach to therapy. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward. My approach is practical, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you with empathy and honesty, offering support without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and help you reconnect with your true self.
In the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you in. You don’t need to prepare anything or know what to say. I’ll guide the conversation, and we’ll go at a pace that feels manageable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of next steps.”
Clients often walk away with: -New coping skills for stress and anxiety -Stronger self-esteem and confidence -Tools to shift limiting beliefs -A greater sense of clarity and direction. You don’t have to carry it all alone. If you're ready for change—or simply looking for a space to reflect and reset—I invite you to reach out. Let’s talk about how I can help.
I specialize in supporting First Responders and individuals navigating stress, personal challenges, or life transitions—providing grounded, compassionate care tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or just need a space to process, therapy doesn’t have to be long-term. Sometimes, just a few focused sessions can help you regain clarity and balance—like a mental reset.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is about learning how to notice what’s happening inside you, your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, without judging or fighting them. Instead of trying to make things go away, we practice staying present and responding more intentionally, which often helps reduce stress and emotional overwhelm.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In CBT, we look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. We’ll work together to notice patterns that may be making things harder and practice more helpful ways of thinking and responding.
