Jonathan Porto
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Ventura County, CA working with clients via Telehealth. I work with individuals of all ages; however specialize in working with teenagers and young adults. I support clients in managing a variety of issues, including but not limited to stress, anxiety, life transitions, peer relationships, conflict, skill building, and sports performance.
First session
When working with me, clients can expect a supportive and collaborative environment. My intake process may begin with a comprehensive assessment to understand their unique needs, goals, and experiences. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their objectives. Progress often looks like increased self-awareness, improved coping strategies, and greater resilience as clients navigate challenges.

My communication style is calm, personable, joyful, and accommodating. I want my clients to feel comfortable exploring any ideas, thoughts, or topics without judgment.
