Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I’m dedicated to helping teens and young adults navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and the many transitions life throws our way. My approach is warm, understanding and explorative. Together, we will work on building skills to manage overwhelming emotions, develop coping strategies, and discover a sense of inner peace.
In our first session, I will introduce myself and ask you some brief questions in order to understand your situation better. We will then discuss goals for therapy and hopes for future sessions.
I offer a safe, comfortable space where you can express yourself freely and explore your experiences without judgment. I put an emphasize on your strengths and help create a path towards healing and resilience.
I enjoy working with teens and young adults who are feeling anxious, depressed or overwhelmed due to school stressors, relationship/peer issues or life transitions. I also enjoy helping new mothers as they navigate the challenges of parenthood and postpartum.
I've used mindfulness based therapy with a range of clients to help increase awareness of their thoughts, actions and feelings in order to facilitate change. Mindfulness therapy can also help with focusing on the present moment by using meditation or breathing exercises.
