Aaron Blevins
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Solace Psychiatry, dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults.
I believe in taking the time to listen, understand each individual’s unique challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote emotional well-being, stability, and lasting improvements in quality of life.
I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based treatment for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and patient-centered. I believe in taking the time to listen, understand each individual’s unique challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote emotional well-being, stability, and lasting improvements in quality of life.
First session
During our first appointment, my priority is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discussing your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current challenges, and personal treatment goals. Together, we will explore appropriate treatment options, including medication management when clinically indicated. I encourage questions and open communication throughout the process. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling supported, informed, and confident that we have established a clear, individualized plan for moving forward with your mental health care.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. I combine compassionate listening with a practical, evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. I believe effective treatment begins with understanding the whole person, not simply addressing a diagnosis. My approach is collaborative, honest, and individualized, balancing empathy with thoughtful clinical guidance. I encourage open communication, patient education, and shared decision-making so individuals feel empowered and actively involved in their treatment. My goal is to build trusting relationships while helping patients achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone seeking compassionate, personalized psychiatric care to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood instability, and other psychiatric concerns. Many individuals come to me feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or uncertain about their symptoms and treatment options. I welcome patients who are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can openly discuss their concerns, better understand their mental health, and actively participate in developing an individualized treatment plan that supports emotional stability, personal growth, and long-term wellness.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I incorporate supportive therapy into my psychiatric practice by providing a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their thoughts, emotions, and daily challenges. Through active listening, encouragement, and practical guidance, I help individuals develop healthy coping strategies, manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. Supportive therapy is integrated with psychiatric evaluations and medication management when appropriate, allowing me to address both emotional and clinical needs. My goal is to empower patients, strengthen their confidence, and promote meaningful improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
