Welcome! My name is Natasha (she/her/hers), and I am so glad to have you here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified school social worker. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and their families in a variety of settings including schools, mobile psychiatric services, and residential programs.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, often called an intake session, I will gather important background information about you, including your presenting concerns and psychiatric, medical and social histories. Then we will collaborate to establish goals that align with your needs and values to guide our work together. Once this is all set, we can determine a schedule for your sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I welcome clients to come as they are and share openly in a safe, non-judgmental space. I utilize a holistic approach to mental health, and so I will encourage attention to other aspects of your wellbeing including your physical, emotional, social and spiritual health to increase the likelihood of positive mental health outcomes. Alongside outpatient therapy, I have a background in special education and social services, which allows me to help you navigate school, work, and community systems so you can flourish and live a fulfilling life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

While I address a range of concerns, most of my clinical experience involves supporting clients through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, family conflict, and school-related challenges. I provide individual therapy to clients ages 12 and older.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) across various clinical settings and age groups, often with clients experiencing anxiety or depression. CBT helps clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another, while encouraging them to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthy coping mechanisms and enhanced problem-solving skills. I will also refer to additional evidence-based therapies, depending on your needs.
