New to Grow
Hi, I’m Erin - a therapist who believes in real talk, deep healing, and helping you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time ever). I work with women, teens, and moms navigating tough seasons — anxiety, identity shifts, burnout, messy family dynamics, and moments that feel too heavy to carry alone. I’m trained in CBT, DBT, and EMDR, and I love helping clients process past trauma, shift old belief patterns, and break generational cycles that no longer serve them. Whether you’re a teen trying to find your voice, a mom wondering where you went in the chaos, or someone finally ready to do the work — therapy with me is a space to untangle, rebuild, and grow on your terms.
I know that finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is often the hardest (and most important) part of starting therapy. In our first session, we’ll dig into what’s bringing you in, gather some history, and set clear goals for where you want to go. I see therapy as your journey - you’re the captain, and I’m here to help navigate and keep the ship on course. I’m accountable and direct, but I also bring humor and realness- I am not a blank-slate therapist, you will get honest reactions, genuine laughter, and yes, I do want to see a picture of your dog.
My style is warm and down-to-earth, but also honest and direct. You’ll get humor, compassion, and accountability in equal measure. I specialize in supporting people who are “high functioning on the outside” but overwhelmed inside — especially those who feel like they're always holding it together for everyone else.
Anyone who is curious, motivated, and ready to grow in therapy is my ideal client. I especially love working with women, teens, new moms, and anyone trying to untangle generational patterns they didn’t even realize were holding them back. If you’re a chronic people-pleaser, overthinker, anxious-club president, or someone who holds yourself to impossibly high standards you’d never expect of anyone else — we’re probably going to be a great match.
I was trained in CBT and TF-CBT in 2017 and have used these approaches daily with teens and adults. I help clients recognize how their thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, while building concrete coping tools for managing anxiety, depression, and trauma symptoms.
I became adoption-competent in 2017 and have since used attachment-based approaches to better understand how early relationships impact adult functioning. I enjoy helping clients explore their attachment patterns and build more secure, fulfilling connections in their lives today.
I was trained in DBT in 2018 and have used it extensively with teens and young adults in DBT skills building groups. While it isn’t my main approach, I often weave in DBT strategies—like mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation— as they fit into session needs.
EMDR is the newest modality I’ve been trained in, and I’m excited to add this therapeutic approach to my toolbox. I use it to help clients safely process distressing or traumatic memories so they can feel more grounded and resilient in the present.
I take a feminist therapy approach by honoring each client’s lived experience and exploring how culture, identity, and power dynamics shape their story. Together, we focus on self-empowerment, challenging harmful societal messages, and building confidence to live authentically.
