I am a sole practitioner with 25+ years and privileged to serve individuals, couples and families struggling with various mind, heart and spiritual issues. I have been a follower of Christ for 40 years, supported by education from two Christian colleges, Wheaton College and Trinity International University. I work diligently to bring a solid integration of Spiritual and Psychological care to the challenges your facing.
Differentiation" is the foundational concept of my approach and focuses on developing emotional maturity. Being a differentiated person involves the pursuit of individuality while appreciating the desire for quality, relational connections. Our Individuality encourages us to follow our own directives while on a journey to create and express our own unique identity. In tension with this is the desire for togetherness that pulls each of us to participate in the engagement and directives of others that matter to us—from partners, to family, friends, even to work.
I bring an energetic engagement with years of experience to help you sort out your concerns quickly and effectively. I also bring a fresh approach to supporting the individual challenges in relationships that is both practical and transformative--literally.
Although I serve a variety of clients, I love/specialize working with individuals that find themselves in emotional, what I like to call “gridlock” in their relationships (marriage, partner, children,work, family etc.). My approach is most beneficial for those who feel the constant experience of victimization, where you find yourself at the mercy of others' active and/or passive actions. Empowering these individuals is my passion and consider it a privileged place to walk alongside you in that journey.
Relational
Learning to love others just as God in Christ has and is loving you is at the source of this approach. This isn't rocket science but it is integrated with with the science of psychology. We can talk more in person
