Brenda Rodriguez
Hi my name is Brenda. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I have worked in the social work field for over a decade and specialize in working with adults. I have worked hand in hand with those struggling with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal struggles. I help people find healthier tools to better deal with their symptoms and have healthier lifestyles.
I work along my clients in order for them to see their strengths and abilities in order them to make necessary changes.
First session
The first session will be an introduction of who you are and the things that you will be needing support with. It is very normal to feel nervous during the first session but it is an important first step to be able to gather your goals for treatment and the things that you need support with. I look forward to meeting you!

Ideal clients
I enjoy working with adults. My clients often have struggled with anxiety and depression for many years but until recently have really been able to discover that these feelings are not "normal." I like to watch my clients experience finding healthy tools to better deal with their symptoms and have more healthier life styles.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the couple of years and have seen the benefits it has with dealing with anxiety and depression. CBT helps to build self awareness and helps to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. Being able to see how these thing influence one another has been helpful for people to be more aware of current feelings and reframing unhelpful thoughts.
