LCSW, 10 years of experience
Hi there! I understand that talking about yourself and your life can feel a little scary, and that’s completely okay. My role as a therapist is to listen, support, and work with you to identify the areas where you might be struggling. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to and help clear your mind, I’m here for you. Together, we’ll explore the tools and strategies that can help you navigate challenges and move toward living your best life. You’ve already taken the first step by being here now, allow yourself to continue this journey, and let’s start working toward your goals!
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to discuss what brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any concerns or goals you’d like to explore. This is a safe and judgment-free space where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. I’ll also explain how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to develop a plan that feels manageable and meaningful. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged, knowing that you’ve taken an important step toward healing and growth.
We will work on your thoughts, feelings, actions and spiritual needs by implementing Cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning that you are at the core of our work together. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can freely express yourself and feel truly heard. I often incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns, as well as elements of Mindfulness to support emotional balance and self-awareness. I believe in tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, empowering you to build insight, resilience, and the skills needed to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to take the next step toward personal growth and healing—even if they’re unsure where to begin. They may be navigating the pain of loss, struggling with anxiety, depression, or anger, or working to overcome challenges related to substance use or life transitions. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are open to self-exploration and motivated to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you’re learning to build healthy life skills or seeking direction and balance, I’m here to support you every step of the way. For those who wish to integrate faith and spirituality into their journey, I offer a space where both clinical and Christian perspectives can come together to promote healing, hope, and wholeness.
