I am Psych NP who specializes in depressive disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, mood disorders, and addiction medicine. I am licensed to see clients across the lifespan - children, adolescents, and adults.
in our first session we will do an initial assessment, work on a diagnosis, treatment plan, discuss medication management and make a plan for follow-up.
I utilize various assessment tools to screen for depression, anxiety, and suicide risks. I also utilize medications for various psychiatric disorders and psychotherapy.
I spent a lot of time training in addiction medicine and dual diagnosis in the Cleveland and akron area. I was also an ER nurse for 15 years in various level 1-3 trauma centers and have a well-rounded background.
