Hello there! I'm so happy you found me. Do you feel stressed out and unable to manage everything? Are your relationships draining you? Do you need better time management? Do you wonder how other people seem to have it all together? Do you struggle to get up in the morning or have trouble sleeping at night? If you answered yes to any of these questions, together we can identify what is and isn't working in your life and work on getting things back in balance. I have years of experience in the mental health field and understand that everyone gets off track at some point in their life. Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based modalities, mindfulness and self-reflection techniques we can work to create a life that is balanced and where you are not only surviving but thriving.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. This will be a time when you can ask questions about my treatment approach and what to expect during our sessions. This is also when I gather information related to your history with mental health treatment and any stressors, situations that are currently bringing you to therapy currently.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am trained in anxiety and exposure treatment for OCD, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based ecotherapy, as well as internal family systems theory. I am constantly reading and learning about new types of therapy and feel that an eclectic approach is the best. I often take clients outside and use nature and meditation as part of my therapeutic approach.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have vast knowledge when it comes to relationships and couples therapy. I have completed gottman training, as well as read Esther Perel's work and listened to her couples therapy podcasts. I have worked with teenagers and young adults, as well as the elderly in home health and hospice settings. I have also worked in the foster care system and understand trauma and how it is healed.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

relationship issues (narcissistic abuse, communication issues, etc) anxiety (trained in CBT) depression Anger problems (I lead an anger management group) Grief (Led grief support group and worked as a hospice social worker for years)
