Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida and Georgia. I received my master's degree from Valdosta State University and have been practicing for almost 20 years. I made the switch from a corporate career to Social Work after experiencing several life changing experiences. It became my passion to help others quickly find the resources they need to flourish. I've expanded my practice over the years with continuing education so that I can be up-to-date on new ways to help people. My approach is person-centered. Together we can build a strong foundation for you to achieve your goals.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for follow-up sessions.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Having worked with many people through the years, I've been successful helping others take control of their lives and move forward in a direction they want to go.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I love helping men and women become the best versions of themselves. Please reach out if you are experiencing parenting issues, high-conflict divorce, life transitions, or other challenges. Help is here.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in various settings, including private practice, community mental health, school settings, and military installations. CBT is effective with individuals, couples, families, and in group therapy to address a wide range of diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, and trauma. My commitment to using this evidence-based approach has empowered individuals and helped them achieve their goals. I use trauma-informed principles, recognizing the impact of trauma on individuals' mental health. My CBT offerings include, but are not limited to: Psychoeducation and skill-building techniques to help clients understand and manage their thoughts and behaviors. Reduce PTSD symptoms through exposure therapy and cognitive restructuring to help clients process traumatic experiences and manage their symptoms. Improve social-emotional skills through teaching social-emotional skills that support academic and behavioral success in the classroom. Enhance coping skills by helping clients develop effective coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I engage in clinical psychotherapy for individuals diagnosed with personality disorders utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
