Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from National University and have been practicing for several years. I work with individuals navigating a variety of life challenges and support those managing a broad range of mental health diagnoses, including Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). My goal is to help each person become the best version of themselves—today and moving forward.
In our first session, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can begin exploring the specific challenges that brought you to therapy. This initial assessment helps me understand your history, current concerns, and goals, and allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. From there, we’ll work collaboratively in future sessions to support you in reaching your goals.
I bring years of experience working in both psychiatric inpatient settings and community-based mental health services. I have extensive experience supporting families navigating the challenges of having a loved one with a severe mental illness, and I also have a strong background in working with the aging population.
I love working with individuals experiencing depression, mood disorders, and addictions—especially those who are ready for change but aren’t quite sure where to begin. My clients are often eager to improve their lives but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about stepping away from patterns they’ve grown used to. Together, we work to uncover the tools and insights needed to move forward, so they can reconnect with themselves and create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves. I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe that communication is key to effective therapy. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment by actively listening, validating experiences, and using reflective listening techniques. It's important to me that you feel truly heard and supported throughout your journey toward personal wellness.
