I strive to collaborate with you in providing psychotherapy where you feel safe, heard, and free to express yourself without judgement. I can be particularly helpful in helping you develop more self-acceptance, more insight, and teach you different tools to support your mental health and well-being. Additionally, I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and CBT. Let’s collaborate to find what works best for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, you can expect me to listen without judgment as we discuss whats bringing you into therapy and collaborate together on how I can best help you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is my non-judgemental being, and my dedication on supporting clients.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

As a therapist, I have worked in multiple clinical settings in-person and/or virtually that focused on providing therapy to those with LGBTQ and BIPOC communities.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I'm trained in EMDR and use it mainly with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, or distressing memories. It helps the brain process painful experiences in a new, less upsetting way. I guide clients through the steps of EMDR using things like eye movements, pulsators, or tapping while they focus on specific memories. It’s been really helpful for people who feel stuck or overwhelmed by past experiences, and I’ve seen great results in helping them feel more in control and less triggered.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. We work on identifying negative thinking patterns and replacing them with more helpful ones. It’s a very practical approach that helps people learn new coping skills and feel more in control of their reactions. I’ve seen it work well for issues like anxiety, depression, and stress.

Somatic

In my practice, I use somatic therapy to help clients connect with how emotions show up in their bodies. We focus on body awareness, breath, and grounding techniques to release tension and process emotions that might be stored physically. It’s especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and clients who feel disconnected from their bodies. It helps people feel more present and regulated.
