Hi, I’m Dr. Latoya Evans, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and owner of Humble Humility Mental Health. I believe mental health care should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. My goal is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll find a treatment approach that works for you.
First session
In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where we establish rapport and discuss their reasons for seeking therapy, including their goals and concerns. We'll explore relevant background information and begin to outline a personalized treatment plan collaboratively. Additionally, I'll introduce the therapeutic process and address any questions or uncertainties clients may have, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to navigate their mental health journey.
