(she/her)
I am a licensed therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I know that life happens, and we are all human, and as such, that is how I approach my treatment. I believe connection and shared experiences can be the most beneficial tool in therapy. I am passionate about fostering a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
Our first session is where we start our therapeutic relationship. What you can expect from this session is going over what to expect from therapy, getting to know you and what brought you to therapy, and what your expectations are for me as your therapist.
As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I’m deeply attuned to each individual’s unique story and tailor my approach using evidence-based practices that meet clients where they are. With a calm, grounded presence, I help clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and reconnect with their inner strengths. I am committed to practicing with cultural humility, honoring the diverse identities and lived experiences that shape each person’s path. Whether navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I partner with clients to foster resilience, healing, and meaningful growth.
I work best with individuals who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes in their lives. My ideal clients may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, or life transitions. I particularly enjoy working with adults and young adults who are seeking greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthier boundaries.
Typically, I prescribe to a more CBT type therapy, although I tend to meet patients where they are at. If they need person-centered, that is what we will do. If they need a more solution-focused approach, then that is what we will do. I listen to the patient and their needs and alter my approach accordingly. Focusing on how our feelings affect our thoughts affect our behaviors is the basis of my treatment though, if we can change the underlying emotion, if we can work through those emotions, everything else will follow.
