New to Grow
I’m a therapist specializing in trauma, grief, medical trauma, and the effects of psychological abuse. I use EMDR, somatic therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients move beyond feeling stuck and begin to experience real, lasting relief. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel safe in your body, process what you’ve been through, and reconnect with yourself.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you; your story, what’s been bringing you in, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. You can expect a calm, supportive space where you don’t have to share everything all at once. We’ll move at your pace while also beginning to identify patterns, goals, and what approaches may best support you. By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and what working together will look like.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach is focused on creating meaningful, lasting change; not just temporary relief. Rather than managing symptoms alone, we target the root of what’s keeping you stuck. Clients often experience: - Reduced intensity of triggers and panic - Fewer intrusive thoughts and less reactivity -Increased sense of safety in their body -Greater clarity, confidence, and emotional stability
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with thoughtful, motivated individuals who are ready to engage deeply in their healing process—particularly those navigating grief, trauma, medical trauma, attachment issues and the effects of psychological abuse. They are not looking for quick fixes, but for meaningful, lasting change. My practice is best suited for those who are willing to invest in themselves, approach the work with curiosity and honesty, and are ready to move toward a life that feels more grounded, regulated, and aligned.
EMDR
I specialize in helping individuals who feel stuck in trauma—especially related to medical trauma, grief, sexual assault, panic attacks, anxiety, and OCD. Often, these experiences aren’t just memories; they live in the body and nervous system, showing up as intrusive thoughts, intense anxiety, or a constant sense of being on edge.
Somatic
I incorporate somatic therapy to help clients safely reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and process trauma by tuning into physical sensations, so they can move out of survival states and feel more grounded, present, and in control.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and feelings, reduce avoidance, and take meaningful action aligned with their values.
Attachment-based
I incorporate attachment-based therapy by helping clients understand how their early relationships shape current patterns in connection, safety, and trust, while using the therapeutic relationship itself as a secure base to build healthier, more secure ways of relating to themselves and others.
