Crisis, trauma, loss, and suffering while difficult, can lead to the discovery of new capacities for healing and growth. During this time of uncertainty, now may be the ideal time to address these issues. Therapy is a transformative and collaborative process that can help. I welcome working with individuals of all ages. I work from a strengths-based approach and use evidence-based models of therapy including -- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Psychodynamic Therapy, and solution-focused models – to address the challenges life presents us. In addition to my work in private practice, I work in a forensic hospital setting for those afflicted with a severe mental illness. I have extensive training in counseling and am well qualified to treat a variety of patients and symptom profiles including, but not limited to individuals in crisis/suicidality, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety.
In the first session we will do introductions. I like to hear what has brought someone into therapy, what their goals are, and what they can expect from me and our following sessions.

I love working with clients that are eager to grow and live their best life but may not have the tools to get to where they want to be. I work in collaboration with clients who may be feeling stuck, unfulfilled, insecure, overwhelmed, or just going through a transitionary period in life, to help them achieve their goals and live the life they want.
I take an eclectic approach utilizing cognitive and solution focused techniques and treatment modalities.
