I am a unicorn therapist....Black, femme, queer and AuDHD. I bring all parts of myself into the session and welcome you to do the same. I believe in the power of authenticity and ancestral magic. Beautiful healing can happen when you show up in a safe space where you can take off your masks and my practice is designed to welcome you to do just that.
Since I require a consultation prior to accepting any new clients into my practice, you will already know what to expect at your first session. At your first session, the focus will be on getting to know each other better and developing rapport. The first few sessions will be mostly focused on further developing your sense of safety with me.
I don't think I am unique, I just think we live in a world where few people show up without masks and with their full authenticity. I do not wear masks, they hurt and they're exhausting to maintain and my clients and I both have better things we could be doing with that time and energy. 0/10 masks are not recommended especially in healing spaces. I have no loyalty to any modality, treatment method or therapeutic approach, I pull from a variety of methods when needed. I don't judge how people get their healing.
I do not work well for everyone and I am okay with that, the client's that I do work well with tend to be BIPOC, LGTBQIA, Neurodivergent, Survivors of things no one should ever have had to survive.
