About me

For the past 8 years, I have assisted individuals, teens, couples, and families in navigating a variety of concerns, such as general life stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship struggles, and health challenges. I am passionate about mental health and honored to be part of my clients’ journey toward greater self-awareness, acceptance, healing, and meaningful change. Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected or unsure of how to move forward? Together, we can explore what's holding you back, develop coping and regulation strategies and reconnect with parts of yourself you might have lost along the way. I use evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to your unique needs, goals, and experiences. My goal is to help you build practical coping, communication and connection skills that bring you peace and can be used beyond the therapy room. My approach is warm, empathetic, and validating while gently holding clients accountable. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you while offering support and guidance in discovering what works best for you. I’ll be there through the difficult moments, celebrate your growth and wins, and support you as you create a life that feels more authentic and meaningful. If you feel we could be a good fit, I would love to hear from you and learn more about what brings you to therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

At our first session, we will meet for about 90 minutes, although this may vary based on your needs and preferences. I will take time to get to know you, learn about your history, concerns, and struggles as well as develop an understanding of your goals for counseling. At the beginning of our first session, I will review informed consent so you feel comfortable with the counseling process and have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have. I will also briefly explain my therapeutic approaches, concepts and strategies I may use throughout our work together. I love getting to know my clients and hearing about their experiences and perspectives. Toward the end of our first session we will discuss a plan moving forward based on your goals, my recommendations and what feels right for you. We may also explore simple tools or practices you can use between sessions to support your progress and achieve your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Being a part of a big family, I understand both the blessings and challenges that come with close-knit communities and the impact family has throughout our lives. As a mom of a child who experienced unique health concerns, I understand the fear, confusion and uncertainty that can come with navigating those challenges, and the benefits of support and community. I understand the importance of authentic connection and community and the joy, integrity and peace this provides. In my approach, I strive to create a safe space where you feel genuinely heard and supported, while offering compassion, hope and the belief that it’s never too late to create the life you’ve always wanted and become the most authentic version of yourself.
