Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Slippery Rock, Pa and I have continued to practice within the use of cognitive based therapy for over 21 years. I assist adolescents to adults with managing symptoms and negative thinking patterns associated with depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts which can remain a barrier towards your desired outcomes. I specialize in decreasing thought distortions that lead to anxiety and teaching coping skills to assist in managing anxiety symptoms as they present. I work most often from a strength-based approach in supporting clients as they learn to identify and challenge thoughts and experiences, which can drive depressive symptoms.

Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.

My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
