Side note: I am an avid sports fanatic (including some unique ones; curling is one of my favorites!), and i am an enthusiastic dog parent. I have significant experience and training in Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy and EMDR, and work well with individuals and families dealing with long-term and complex issues. Welcome! My counseling practice is in Wheaton, Illinois and I am also licensed in Florida. I have a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision. In addition to private practice, I serve as professor in the counseling graduate program at National Louis University in the Chicago area where I teach all foundational theory and research-based courses.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated with my Master's Degree for the University of South Florida. I have experience working with adult and adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-esteem, life changes and other challenges. I specialize in working with women and men who are experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, negative self-image. I work with clients to help them discover their true self, underneath the expectations they have placed on themselves or feel pressure from others. He utilizes structures that include individual, couples, family, alternative relationships, and/or process groups. He is licensed to practice clinically in Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Virginia, and has a private practice located in the heart of the Nashville Black Community. He is an avid supporter of the needs, culture, and outlook of the African American community, while operating within an African Centered framework. Mr. Brown enjoys studying, teaching, and implementing Ancient African history. He recently traveled to Accra, Ghana during the Year of Return. With over 10 years of experience providing therapy, interpersonal training, and life management. I utilize various treatment approaches including trauma resolution, solution focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
