I work both individuals and couples in a collaborative space to allow the client(s) experiencing relationship challenges, interpersonal difficulties, marriage conflicts, stress, depression, and/ or anxiety a space to be heard, feel validated and at times challenged in a safe environment. My goal is for clients to feel comfortable in learning about their own strengths and be able to assist them in discovering their own internal resources to help them be at peace with whatever is challenging them. Couples’ work is focused on finding areas to increase satisfaction, finding areas of need within yourself, and learning to better communicate those needs to your partner. By increasing positive responses in your relationship, you will develop more commonality and shared goals which can lead to positive outcomes. Often, people get stuck in a rut and need support in navigating their way back to a positive relationship with themselves and others. I am trained in marriage, family, and trauma, a Certified Family Trauma Professional and an EMDR trained clinician. I enjoy working with couples and individuals with relationship issues as well as life stressors. I have worked with the geriatric population and understand the struggles of adults caring for parents and navigating life stressors, navigating end of life issues, and grief. If you are experiencing challenges in your life, regardless of where it stems from and you are experiencing difficulty with your day-to-day functioning or are experiencing work/life stressors, we will work together to develop a path for you to begin enjoying your life again and learn to take control. In our first session we will collaborate and determine if you would like to move forward with therapy and we can build a plan that best supports your goals.
In our first few sessions together, we will cover detailed history information and get to know each other to determine if we are a good fit. We will determine specific areas you want to work on and create a treatment plan that ensures that focus is provided to areas of challenge.
I work from a family systems and trauma informed care approach. I will utilize EMDR as needed as well as Gottman Couples communication techniques. I have experience in HR and operations and can provide career guidance when related to life transitions.
Individuals who are looking for a direct, open and supportive therapist who will engage clients ages 25 and older, experiencing Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, and Life transitions to build a better and brighter future.
I focus on individuals who have experienced trauma. I focus on developing a therapeutic relationship with you and then will develop a treatment plan to utilize EMDR techniques.
I am trained in Marriage and family therapy and focus most treatment through the attachment based modalities.
Using the Gottman method, I work with individuals and families to better equip themselves with best communication skills. Using the Gottman method, couples will be able to move through difficult relationship paths and focus on growth and connection.
Integrating CBT into my practice to help clients identify negative thoughts and behaviors and working to develop goal-oriented approaches that create awareness and change in thinking and behavior.

I appreciated being able to share my story while she listened, and I felt empowered because she validated my emotions and physical responses to the situations I was experiencing.

She wasn't just hearing but listening to what I need to say and understand what is happening with the client. Felt really good after the therapy.
