My passion is helping clients build tools to manage anxiety, challenge thought traps, and shift negative thinking patterns. I support individuals in exploring self-identity and reducing depressive symptoms through emotional processing, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and healthy coping strategies. If you find yourself feeling stuck in past experiences, overwhelmed by the present, or anxious about the future, we can explore EMDR as a way to help the brain process and heal naturally. Together, we’ll create meaningful goals—big or small—that uncover your strengths and foster growth. I'm certified in TF-CBT, Perinatal Mental Health (PSI), and nationally board-certified. I use a compassionate, strength-based approach rooted in CBT, EMDR, DBT, MI, and Polyvagal theory. I help clients express emotions, improve communication, build self-regulation, and accept change. Sessions include breathwork, parts work, grounding, and tapping for calm.
In our first meeting we will explore your reason for seeking out therapy. I may push you to dig a little deeper to help me understand and build a trusting relationship. It will be very easy going and more of a conversation. We will talk about historical concerns, family dynamics, and ways in which your mental health is impacting the various aspects of your life. Together we will formulate goals to meet your specific needs and wishes for therapy. This is about you!
I bring a warm, down-to-earth, and empathetic approach to help you feel truly heard and supported. I offer gentle challenges to reframe unhelpful thoughts and promote growth. I also normalize the messy, beautiful, and often overwhelming experiences of motherhood and parenting—you're not alone on this journey.
