About me

My name is Tamika Earle, LCSW, and I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you gain insight, develop healthy coping skills, and create lasting positive change. I combine evidence-based methods such as CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to support you in achieving emotional balance and personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, personal goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also explain how the therapy process works, answer any questions you may have, and begin identifying the best approach to support your needs. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and confident as we start your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment where clients feel truly seen and supported. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients gain insight and make meaningful changes. My focus is on helping clients move from surviving to thriving by building self-awareness, emotional balance, and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and purpose.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who are ready to heal, grow, and regain control of their lives. Many of my clients are navigating stress, grief, anxiety, low self-esteem, or the lasting impact of trauma, and are seeking a safe, supportive space to process their emotions and build healthier patterns. I work well with individuals who are motivated for change, open to self-reflection, and ready to take practical steps toward emotional well-being and personal empowerment.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. I guide clients in exploring the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and teach practical coping skills such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation. CBT allows me to provide a structured, evidence-based approach that helps clients build self-awareness, develop healthier thinking habits, and achieve lasting behavioral change.

Motivational Interviewing

I frequently use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence toward change. This approach supports clients in identifying their own reasons and motivation for growth rather than being directed by the therapist. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations, I help clients strengthen their confidence and commitment to positive behavioral changes while maintaining a collaborative and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy techniques to help clients increase self-awareness and emotional regulation. By teaching clients to stay present and observe their thoughts and feelings without judgment, I support them in reducing anxiety, managing stress, and improving overall well-being. Practices such as deep breathing, grounding, and guided meditation are integrated into sessions to help clients develop calmness, focus, and acceptance in their daily lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths and focus on practical steps toward their desired goals. This approach emphasizes solutions rather than problems, encouraging clients to envision positive outcomes and recognize what is already working in their lives. Through techniques like scaling questions, miracle questions, and goal-setting, I help clients build confidence and create actionable strategies for change in a short, goal-oriented framework.
