I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Indiana. I received my master's degree through Indiana University and have been practicing for three years. I help individuals battling with an array of mental health symptoms and help empower them to make positive changes in their life for a better future. I have experience with individuals with a history of trauma, addiction and depression/anxiety disorders.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will do brief introductions and explore what you want to get out of our sessions together. We will start to build a foundation of trust in a nonjudgemental environment. We will explore your history, needs and goals so we can tailor sessions for you to get the most out of our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel I provide a warm, nonjudgemental environment to help clients feel at ease so they can be as open and honest as possible in order to create change. I realize how overwhelming it can be to start therapy and think it is very important for clients to feel they have a good relationship with their therapist in order for the therapist to really assist the client. I feel I am authentic, relatable and I like to use humor to help put the client at ease. I really enjoy helping others and I love to see positive change and progress in clients!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cogngitive Behavioral Thearpy to help clients who struggle with depression, guilt, anxiety or self-esteem. I will help guide you to identify problematic thoughts and behaviors and help you change/challenge them. I will help guide you to identify how past experiences have led to negative symptoms and assist you in managing them to lead your best life.

Motivational Interviewing

I have used motivational interviewing to help clients build trust in themselves and gain confidence. Motivational Interviewing can help clients identify what is holding them back from making positive changes and become motivated to change behavior.
