New to Grow
Hi, my name is Mary. I assist individuals in their personal and professional relationships, as well as couples and families navigating the challenges they face. I also counsel seniors and their families as they confront and cope with emotional transitions and life changes. I’ve been privileged to help people for many years. I received my master’s degree from La Salle University and have been in private practice ever since, earning an M.A. in counseling. I invite you to Google my name and read a few of my reviews. A quick note about insurance coverage for couples counseling: Couples counseling focused solely on relationship concerns is typically not covered by insurance. For this type of counseling, sessions are offered at my private-pay rate. My private rate is $100.00 per hour. If you plan to use insurance, coverage requires that one partner be experiencing a diagnosable mental health condition, as defined by ICD codes. In those cases, treatment is directed toward addressing that condition and its impact on the relationship. I invite you to Google my name and read a few of my reviews.
I'll listen, and together we'll figure out how to address what's happening. Your needs are what matter to me. While I utilize a variety of counseling approaches, all are grounded in respect, trust, and honor for you as the client.
I believe that people have the resources within themselves to attain happiness and fulfillment. My role as a therapist is to help you tap into your strengths, guide you in understanding the processes of change you are experiencing, and motivate you while teaching skills that you can implement to achieve your personal, relational, and professional goals.
My ideal client is an individual who wants to be happier, strives to be happier, and is open to learning the skills required to live a fulfilling life. An individual who cares about themselves and others. I serve as a helper and a guide, teaching, and coaching individuals as they engage in more satisfying relationships in their personal, social, and professional lives.
