*****Weekend appointment availability***** Open-minded and nonjudgmental therapist with a safe place. Experienced with alternative lifestyles, unique situations and welcoming to all individuals. I use an eclectic approach to therapy as one size does not fit all. Counseling is a place to work toward a better and more fulfilling life, where goals are attained, communication is improved and relationships are strengthened. With a particular interest in sexual dysfunction and intimate relationship problems, I will accept you as you are, with unconditional positive regard. I have over 15 years of experience as a mental health counselor, and support people in each of the dimensions of wellness. I recognize you as the expert in your life! Together we will work as a team partnership to establish goals and the steps to help attain those dreams.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will work to bring peace of mind, establish ways to feel more comfortable with your thoughts and feelings, and produce calm and acceptance within your life circumstances.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - We will focus your thoughts for more comfortable feelings, with a goal to promote more effective behavior to reach your goals. I provide unconditional positive regard, assuring you have a safe space to explore your hopes and dreams. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) - I use tools to help with processing traumatic memories to create more control and awareness in conscious decision-making, even when triggered unconsciously. Reality Therapy - Through empathetic listening, challenging, and helping develop change talk and actions, we can establish ways to increase successful goal attainment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have over fifteen years of experience helping professionals, parents, young adults, minorities, people involved in the criminal justice system, those with substance use issues and other addictions, and individuals experiencing trauma, natural or manmade disasters and homelessness.
