New to Grow
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! I am a therapist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and the daily challenges of ADHD. My approach is warm, creative, and completely neuro-affirming. Instead of traditional sit-and-talk therapy, we will use gentle, sensory-based tools like play therapy, sand tray, and EMDR to support your unique nervous system at your own comfortable pace.
Our first session is all about keeping things low-pressure, comfortable, and welcoming. We will use this time to gently get to know each other, talk about what brings you or your child into therapy, and explore your goals for our time together. There is no expectation for you to dive into deep or heavy stories right away—we will focus entirely on building a safe connection and making sure you feel completely secure, heard, and supported at a pace that works best for you.
What stands out most about my practice is that I don't force clients into a rigid therapeutic box. Instead, I specialize in non-traditional, sensory-affirming, and creative methods like play therapy, sand tray, and EMDR to meet your unique nervous system exactly where it is. By blending these specialized tools with a deep trauma-informed framework, I help children, teens, and adults process deep-rooted stressors and build genuine, lasting emotional regulation at a pace that feels entirely safe and collaborative.
I love working with children and adults who are looking for a space where they can truly be themselves while healing from trauma, anxiety, or navigating ADHD. Traditional sit-and-talk therapy isn't for everyone, so I focus on a gentle, creative approach that honors your unique nervous system. Whether you're a parent looking for a warm, child-centered play therapy space for your little one, or an adult wanting to process deep-rooted stressors safely through EMDR, we will work at a pace that feels completely secure for you. My goal is to make therapy feel collaborative, validating, and deeply supportive of your own natural healing process.
I identify as
Trauma-Focused CBT
I utilize Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to provide a safe, structured space for individuals and families to process the impact of traumatic experiences. Together, we work on understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical emotional regulation and coping skills. My approach ensures that we pace the healing process comfortably, helping you or your child safely untangle painful memories and rebuild a sense of safety, resilience, and control.
EMDR
I utilize EMDR to help clients safely process traumatic memories and distressing life experiences without needing to talk through every painful detail. By using bilateral stimulation, we work together to unlock the brain's natural healing process, moving from a place of emotional distress to a grounded state of resolution and regulation. I approach this work through a gentle, trauma-informed lens, ensuring you feel completely secure and supported at every step of your healing journey.
Play Therapy
Children communicate their internal worlds best through play, which is why I use client-led play therapy and sand tray interventions to help young clients process big emotions. By creating a warm, sensory-affirming environment, I offer children a safe space to express what they might not yet have the words to say. This approach allows us to naturally explore trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges while building emotional regulation and resilience at their own pace.
Faith based therapy
I offer a space where clients can safely integrate their Catholic faith and spiritual values into the healing process. I combine evidence-based psychological tools with a deep respect for Catholic theology, helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges, trauma, and emotional distress while honoring their spiritual foundation. This approach ensures your therapy journey supports both your psychological well-being and your spiritual growth.
