(he/him)
Hi! I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my master's degree from Cal State Long Beach and have been practicing for about three years now. I'm a therapist who believes in creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel truly seen and heard. Together, we work collaboratively to explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
A first session with me is all about creating a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can feel safe to be yourself. We’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what’s bringing you in, and begin identifying what you’d like to get out of therapy—at a pace that feels right for you.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my friendly and approachable nature, my ability to validate and truly listen, and my commitment to creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space. I strive to make clients feel safe opening up about life’s difficulties, no matter how big or small, so they feel supported every step of the way.
As an LGBTQ+ therapist, I’m passionate about providing affirming, inclusive care to others within the LGBTQ+ community. I understand the importance of having a safe, supportive space to explore identity, relationships, and life’s challenges without fear of judgment—and I’m honored to walk alongside clients in that process. I also support anyone navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty coping, offering a grounded and compassionate space to move through change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to collaboratively set goals, build coping skills, and promote lasting change by helping clients develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in developing skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. My approach integrates DBT principles to help clients navigate intense emotions, reduce impulsive behaviors, and build a more balanced and fulfilling life, especially those struggling with mood disorders, self-harm, or relational difficulties.
