Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I earned my Masters from Chapman University and have been practicing for 11 years now. Using a collaborative approach I have people identify what brought them to therapy, and help them develop the coping and communication skills to reach their goals. I aim to create a safe environment while gently keeping you accountable.
In our first session together, I'll give a brief introduction and overview of what therapy will look like with me. I'll have you identify what challenges/problems have brought you in, and based on that, establish goals you'd like to reach to help you be a happier and healthier person.
In my 11 years of being a clinician I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of client populations, which has helped me develop a well-rounded skill set and a heightened ability to understand and meet the unique needs of each individual.
I love working with working adults who have a desire to be successful both professionally and interpersonally.
I am a strong believer in CBT because it is an evidence based and short term treatment model. I believe in finding the dysfunction in thoughts/behaviors and teaching my clients the skills to better cope with thinking traps and life stressors.
